Dean is the founding director of Sunny Rays Catering, specialising in private dining, degustation and corporate catering events across the Sunshine Coast.

Having explored the world for 10 years, travelling to more than 100 countries (including working in 6 countries across 4 continents), Dean gathered experiences from permaculture farming in Central/South America and hospitality/hotel management in North America to sommelier/mixologist services in Western Europe.

Over his 20 years in the hospitality industry, Dean has become a fully qualified Chef, achieved both Level 3 (WSET) & Certified Sommelier (CMS). These accreditations are also accompanied by a Certificate II & III in Hospitality Operations from TAFE Mooloolaba and a Bachelor of Business (Advertising) from the Queensland University of Technology.

VICE PRESIDENT

I’m Karen Guildford, the founder and Director of Stylish Stays, a business I’ve built specialising in short-term stay accommodations in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast since 2018. With a portfolio of 12 stylish apartments in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast, I’m proud to be recognized as an Airbnb Ambassador and Superhost and rank highly on booking.com. I’m also a member of the Million Dollar Club within the BNB Professionals network and a co-author of Hospitable Hosts Volume 3, reflecting my success in the short-term rental industry.

We enjoy the freedom to travel now while managing our business remotely. Our guests receive a seamless, luxury experience without even knowing we might be halfway around the world.

TREASURER

Tascha is the owner of Brighten Accountants and a member of the Institute of Public Accountants. The firm has clients across various sectors including medical, manufacturing, retail and services to name a few. It offers accounting, tax and business planning services.

Tascha has been in practice for twenty years and empowers her clients to manage their businesses by implementing optimal accounting and tax solutions. She believes in supporting local business and regards her participation in the 4556 Chamber as an opportunity to achieve this goal. Tascha is keen to see the Chamber grow and enhance businesses in the 4556 area.

COMMUNICATIONS

My career was in the tourism industry until five years ago when I became manager of the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce. I loved my time there and developed a great respect for the contribution that local chambers make to their members, their community and their location.

I now currently manage online and offline promotions for the 4556 Chamber of Commerce using various media.

SECRETARY

Lauren Fraser is the founder and CEO of Thea Media, a growth marketing agency working with health, wellness and beauty businesses right across Australia. Over 8 years she built her agency from the ground up and now partners with brands nationwide on the two things that matter most to any growing business: acquiring the right customers and scaling sustainably.

Lauren works across SEO, paid media, email and social media to help her clients build strong foundations for long-term growth rather than short-lived spikes. She sees Thea Media as an extension of her clients' teams and brings a holistic, big-picture approach to every partnership.

Beyond the agency, Lauren serves as Secretary on the board of Connect Kids, a Sunshine Coast not-for-profit supporting disadvantaged children through mentoring, education and intensive family support programs.

Based on the Sunshine Coast, Lauren is proud to join the 4556 Chamber of Commerce as Secretary.

After a combined 15+ years in a corporate career and 17 years as a business owner, and sales and team communications specialist, I earned many national awards and recognition. However, I knew my life was meant for more, and really wanted to help other people create their dreams and aspirations, in their career or business. So, I took a leap of faith, and launched Empower Opportunity.

I now help empower people to find their unique purpose and be more profitable.

Donna Niazov is the CEO of The Family Friendly Group, one of the largest Carpet Cleaning, Pest & Termite Management companies on the Sunshine Coast. The Family Friendly Group services over 100 resort complexes, over 1000 domestic homes and over 100 education facilities and businesses across the Sunshine Coast region.

Donna is an experienced board member both sub- regional and regionally across many groups including but not limited to the ATO Stewardship Board and several other business and community focus boards.

Donna is all about collaboaration and togetherness and has a strong believe that together we can accomplish more.

I’m Zoe Hobin — a passionate connector and community advocate with a background as Membership Executive for the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, where I supported over 500+ members and 45 business partners. I love bringing people together, sparking collaboration, and helping businesses grow and thrive. Now new to the beautiful Sunshine Coast, I’m excited to bring my energy, experience, and enthusiasm to the 4556 Chamber Committee and play a part in building an even stronger local business community.

Jenny is part of the family business of Buderim Auto Service who have been servicing vehicles with repairs and tyres for the past 40+ years. Their catch phrase of ‘where cars love to go’ is an indication of the attention given to customers and their vehicles.

Jenny has been on the Chamber committee since it’s inauguration on the 13 November 2013 and is passionate about the Chamber, believing that it is not what your Chamber can do for you, but what you can do for your Chamber and community.

As a Certified Financial Planner Angus has worked in the financial services industry for over twenty years. Heading up the team at ACru Wealth on Burnett St, Buderim, he helps clients, both locally and Australia wide with a range of services including; Superannuation, Wealth Creation & Protection, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, SMSF and Debt Management.

Angus prides himself on high-quality delivery, and on building trust & developing concrete relationships. He has a knack for translating complex financial concepts into accessible, engaging and even enjoyable language. Passionate about helping people be better off financially he provides them with the right advice at the right time – helping to protect their money and make it grow.

When not in the office, Angus loves spending time with his young family - exploring all of the great things the Sunshine Coast has to offer!

As the Founder of The Retreat Growth Agency, Andre transforms and grows established recovery retreats and programs across Australia and Asia through performance-driven marketing.

Passionate about helping good businesses reach more people, Andre focuses on creating strategies that deliver real, measurable results while building trust, consistency, and long-term community impact.

With a background in digital marketing and business development, Andre has partnered with local and national brands to generate sustainable growth through Google Ads, SEO, and automation systems. He believes that marketing done with integrity can change not just businesses, but lives.

Outside of work, Andre enjoys mornings at the gym, spending time with his church community, and mentoring other young entrepreneurs on the Sunshine Coast.
